NAVASOTA, Texas – People living in Navasota are still working to clean up after two tornadoes hit the town last Thursday. Families there have been deeply effected by EF1 and EF2 tornados.

” I don’t think I can describe in words what its been like,” Bethany Stratton said.

Bethany Stratton’s family waited out one of the two tornadoes that ripped through Navasota inside their home. Her parent’s home, gone, leaving six people homeless.
“I don’t understand how people are driving by and stopping here and taking pictures of this house, and they don’t have the guts to come up here and ask, ‘I’m sorry, may I take a picture can I help you?,'” Bethany said.
Bethany says only Red Cross and a local church has stopped by their home to see if they need any help or extra supplies.
While the rest of the Stratton family is sleeping safe in a hotel room, the owner of the house Darrell Stratton is having to sleep inside a vehicle with busted windows just to make sure no one steals their belongings like they have been.

The family is asking for donations of food, clothing and other basic items.NAVASOTA, Texas – People living in Navasota are still working to clean up after two tornadoes hit the town last Thursday. Families there have been deeply effected by EF1 and EF2 tornados.
