HUNTSBURG TWP. Ohio — The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday tweeted out photos of storm damage in Huntsburg Township.

A barn was blown over and damage was done to the roof of a home on Chardon Windsor Rd. Soon after the storm was over, workers were already patching up a large hole in the roof of the home and surveying damage to a barn that had a caved-in wall.

The National Weather Service said it is looking into whether a tornado caused the damage. A survey team will head out to investigate on Friday.

A neighbor captured video of what appeared to be a funnel cloud touching down in Huntsburg Township Thursday afternoon.

“It was just a little funnel at first and then it started to drop down really quick,” said Jackie Jones.

Jones took video that shows the cloud swirling around her neighborhood on Chardon Windsor Road.

“As I was pulling up closer to our road, I noticed a little funnel cloud out of the corner of my eye and I came up over a hill and looked at it, I was like ‘I need to stop, that looks like it’s right above my house!” she said.

Reportedly, no one was injured.
