FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — The National Weather Service confirmed that two tornadoes touched down in the Fort Lauderdale area on Tuesday afternoon. One struck the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the other struck downtown Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday afternoon.
