Port Salerno, Fla. —
The National Weather Service confirms a tornado did touch down in Martin County on Sunday.
The NWS says the tornado touched down in Port Salerno just after 4 pm. No injuries were reported.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office initially suggested a tornado may have caused minor damage in the area, including sending a trampoline into power lines.
The NWS will continue to review the damage to determine the intensity of the tornado.
